The “Plant Conservation Strategy for the Caribbean Region” aligns with the objectives of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation (GSPC), endorsed by the U.N. Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) for the 2011–2020 period. It is currently in final development to establish a comprehensive framework of plant conservation measures that intricately reference and reinforce the goals of the Convention’s Global Biodiversity Framework for 2022–2030.
