Abstract submissions

We are no longer accepting submissions.

We invite you to share your research, experiences, and innovations in plant conservation and botanical garden work by submitting an abstract for consideration in one of the following formats:

Symposia

Symposia offer an opportunity to organize a panel, series of presentations around a central theme, and workshops. They may include multiple speakers and formats (e.g., talks, panel discussions, Q&A).

Note: Due to the time commitment involved, a limited number of symposia will be accepted.

Length: Up to 4 hours
Format: Flexible, to be defined by the organizer
Ideal for: Institutions or teams addressing a specific topic in depth

Oral Presentations

These short talks are perfect for highlighting key findings, success stories, or ongoing projects.

Length: 10 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A
Format: Oral presentation with slide
Ideal for: Individual presenters or small teams

Posters

Posters are an excellent way to showcase research, case studies, or creative ideas in a visual format. Presenters will have the opportunity to discuss their work during a dedicated poster session.

Ideal for: Students, early-career professionals, projects in early stages, garden spotlight
Poster size: 100 cm x 120 cm
Print: Full color
Material: Banner Type Lona (if possible)

Important Note

Abstract submissions will be highly competitive this year. In 2024, we received nearly 100 submissions and expect even greater interest in 2026. We encourage you to be clear, concise, and compelling in your abstract.

The congress will be live translated to both English and Spanish. As such, abstracts and presentations can be given in either language.
